The SJN Parish Bell Tower.
When our church was built they
had limited funding so the committee
had to choose between putting in a
basement or constructing the bell
tower. As you might guess, our
church has no basement.
How many of you can remember
Mr. Konicek ringing in "The Angelus"
at noon every day, 3 groups of 3
chimes with a pause in between
each group, followed by 9 chimes,
in honor of the Incarnation.
(The bell tower was also selected to
be the logo on all our main
webpages).
