  60-Year Reunion
The Meadowbrook Country Club, located in Racine, WI, was the site of our 60-year reunion. The event was held on Saturday, June 22, 2024. The banquet room had an outside patio overlooking the golf course.

The responses to our mailings were amazing with almost 80% of our class responding or contacting us regarding our final 60-year reunion. The turnout for this reunion exceeded our expectations with over 40%   of our graduating class attending.
Again there were a lot of changes in the addresses of our classmates since our last 50-year reunion. We were able to confirm the contact information for all but two of our graduating class. We provided everyone with the Class of 1964 website information as a means of keeping them up to date with the class.

Through our searches we were saddened to learn about the passing of nine more of our classmates since our 50-year reunion, bringing the total to 19 that are now deceased. They were remembered during our pre-meal prayer, and again, it made us that much more grateful for the time we had to spend with each other during our weekend activities.

We found that even though there were a lot of address changes, our class still had not migrated too much over the years. At the time of our 60-year reunion, 67% of us still lived in the state of Wisconsin (compared to 73% at our 50-year, 77% at our 40-year and 76% at our 25-year), and 41% were still residents of Racine (compared to 41% at our 50-year, 43% at our 40-year and 48% at our 25-year). The 23 classmates who had relocated out-of-state were living in 16 different states across the U.S (compared to 15 at our 50-year, 16 at our 40-year and 13 at our 25-year). There was one classmate who was living outside our country.
Our final 60-year reunion was a two-day event. On the Sunday following our rerunion, many of our claasmates attended a brunch held in the St. John Nepomuk Church Parish Center. This building is loacated between our school and church (where the old red brick rectory used to be). The homemade dishes that were served did not dissappoint.

Our final get-together was a wonderful weekend for all of our classmates who attended. Those who were unable to join us were missed. We've said this before and it needs to be repeated, we are truly blessed to have a graduating class that is comprised of such a unique and wonderful group of individuals.
